In Voices this week, I interview a woman who may not really need an introduction. If you listen to NPR, you will quite often hear the voice of Louise Schiavone; however, she is also a Senior Lecturer full time faculty Johns Hopkins University; TEDx speaker; and journalist. In this interview we concentrate on journalism and some of the problems we face currently with the internet and 24-hour news cycle.

In Voices this week, I interview a man who wrote the book based on the principles taught at the world-renowned Disney Institute – “Creating Magic.” Author Lee Cockerell speaks on several topics emphasizing the importance of leaders being teachers and selling a brand to their employees as well as providing them with a purpose. In Voices this week, I interview a woman with quite an interesting background in the military. She is a reconnaissance helicopter pilot. She is also transitioning from the military to the private sector and has become quite the advocate. Commander Annie Odom speaks about female leadership in a male dominated military field and how she can carry over what she learned of leadership during her time of service. |
